General Characteristics
- Very soft to the touch.
- High degree of compressibility.
- Excellent drape.
- High liquid absorption capacity
- Operational within a temperature range of -20 to +100 Celsius
- Self-extinguishing with a flashpoint in excess of 650 Celsius
Fabricating methods
Soft felt can be die-cut, slit to custom widths, laminated with adhesives, impregnated with lubricating waxes, and easily cut with knives and shears into simple shapes.

Dimensions
Our soft felts are manufactured at 1830mm widths (72”) and are available in various roll lengths governed by the material thickness.
Additional information
Soft felts are not designed to be exposed to areas of high friction or compression.
They exhibit the highest degree of stretch of any felt and can be easily damaged or destroyed by mechanical pulling and abrasion.
They are manufactured to provide economical sealing and cushioning solutions in near static environments.
